About Us

 The Center Restaurant was established in Muenster Texas in the 1950’s.  The original building was constructed in 1958 and remains across the street.   The current structure was built in 1989 and today operates with owners Jacob Pagel, Bryan and Glenda Pagel Russell, and Dwayne Pagel.

Choose the area you prefer to dine:  traditional restaurant, tavern, or biergarten.  The traditional restaurant has a peaceful German atmosphere.  The tavern has a more casual feel with televisions often tuned to that special game or  event.  Challenge your friends to a game of pool upstairs in the game room.   The biergarten features flower gardens and picnic tables complete with gazebo, which often serves as a stage for bands to play during warm weather.

The Center is located on the north side of Hwy 82 in Muenster, Texas.  Muenster is the home of Germanfest, a yearly celebration held in the city park the last full weekend in April.  You can enjoy our food  at our booth in the park or come to the restaurant to dine.
